Gary Barlow has shrugged off a recent Twitter hack that saw someone post a death threat message on his account.

On Sunday (January 8) the star appeared to write on the social networking website: "Die Barlow you c*nt. A slow and f*ckin painful death."

Responding to the hack, the real Barlow then said he had changed his password. He added: "Let’s face it, we’ve seen worse!"

On Saturday (January 7) the musician launched his new BBC TV talent show Let It Shine, which will source a group of male singers to form a boyband for a musical based on Take That.
