Take That's Gary Barlow thinks Cheryl Cole has "turned a corner" following the recent U.S X Factor drama that saw her get removed from the judging panel and replaced by Nicole Scherzinger. 

Barlow explained to the Mail Online that the 'Promise This' singer is a close friend and although she's understandably affected by the last-minute changes, he's certain that she will bounce back:

"Cheryl is a very good friend of mine. I'm sending support. I've spoken to her and I think she has turned a corner now. I would say she is going places."

"I'm sad that she's gone, but do you know what, she will move on to something else. I know her quite well and she is an ambitious girl, she's very together and she'll get over this no question."
