Gary Barlow recruits huge names for Children In Need supergroup

X Factor judge Gary Barlow has teamed up with fellow panelist Tulisa Contostavlos for a very special project.

The pair will join forces with other huge names in British music to record a single that will be released in aid of Childen In Need. Also on board are 'The A Team' singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, chart-topping Wretch 32 and Ms. Dynamite to name but a few.

This newly formed charity supergroup have also recruited the talents of producer Labrinth and will unveil their collaborative offering on November 13, but are yet to name it.

Speaking from London's Metropolis Studios, Barlow told The Sun:

"I think this is a brilliant project. Children In Need has a history of doing upbeat singles with comedians but it's a serious charity doing a lot of hard work for serious causes. It's time to do something with artists who young people actually listen to."

"I've done these things before, I'm used to doing group situations, I like it - it's a challenge. It hasn't been easy. But bless him, Labrinth and his manager have been the key to the whole thing."

He added, "hopefully we should be nailed on for a No1 - and raise loads of money in the process".

The full line up includes Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks, Dappy, Fazer, Tulisa, Ms. Dynamite, Wretch 32, Tinchy Stryder, Mz Bratt and Dot Rotten. Watch Barlow talk about his X Factor experiences below:
