Gary Barlow to "take some time off next year"

Despite Gary Barlow's recent comments about wishing to return to The X Factor in the future as a judge, he admitted that he is keen to take some time off next year.

The Take That star and singer-songwriter revealed to The Mirror newspaper that he has dedicated so much time and energy to working on the show's current season that he has been missing out on family life:

"I'm taking some time off next year to remind myself who my children are and what their names are.”

Talking about last night's (November 17) Children In Need Rocks event in Manchester, which he organised, he said that it was refreshing to focus on something other than The X Factor and added:

"It’s been nice to concentrate on something other than X Factor. We’re in a bubble down there. It’s been good to leave London. We get tied up with our own importance.”
