Gary Barlow on course for chart double

Gary Barlow looks set to top both the UK singles and albums chart this coming weekend.

In the midweek update released by the Official Charts Company today (June 6), Barlow's Diamond Jubilee track 'Sing' is leading the way at the top of the UK singles chart.

The album of the same name, from which the single is taken, is similarly riding high at the summit of the albums chart.

Elsewhere in the midweek singles chart, Usher's 'Scream' is in at No.2 whilst Fun's hit track 'We Are Young' is currently resting at No.3.

In the albums chart meanwhile, Ed Sheeran's '+' has stormed back to hit No.2, displacing Paloma Faith's 'Fall To Grace', which slots in at No.3.
