George Michael's heartbroken partner Fadi Fawaz has opened up about finding the singer dead in bed on Christmas Day.

The music icon passed away from heart failure aged just 53. Fawaz took to Twitter on Monday (December 26) to recall the moment he made the discovery.

He said: "ITs a xmas i will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning.. I will never stop missing you xx."

Fawaz had reportedly been in a relationship with Michael since 2012. The singer meanwhile had been expected to release a new album next year.
