Music icon George Michael sadly passed away on Christmas Day at the age of 53 from heart failure and the world is responding by streaming his incredible back catalogue.

There are currently 11 of his songs in the UK Viral 50 Chart including one song by Wham! - namely the festive favourite 'Last Christmas' (No.20) - ranging in position from No.10 to No.47.

Featured on the chart are 'Father Figure' (No.10), 'Careless Whisper' (No.18), 'Jesus To A Child' (No.19), 'Last Christmas' (No.20), 'Freedom' (No.24), 'Faith' (No.29), 'Praying For Time' (No.30), 'A Different Corner' (No.32), 'Fastlove' (No.33), 'One More Try' (No.40), and 'Cowboys and Angels' (No.47). 

Earlier this week Spotify confirmed that streams of George Michael's music were up by a phenomenal 3,158% following his death.
