Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album Debuts Top 10
NEW YORK, Nov. 24, 2010 -- Columbia Records – Glee does it again with back to back #1 singles on the digital track sales charts for two weeks in a row. This week the cast's version of Cee Lo's "Forget You," featuring Gwyneth Paltrow, is the #1 song on the digital track sales charts with an impressive 192,458 sold. Last week the Glee cast scored their first #1 digital track sale, as well as their highest debut week for any track, with their take on Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream."
Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album is the #8 best selling album on Billboard's Top 200 Album chart with an impressive 161,198 sold in it's debut week. Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album is soon to be a holiday classic with its spirited and uplifting offerings from "Angels We Have Heard On High" to "We Need A Little Christmas" and a very special "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch" which features the incomparable kd lang. Fans can hear some of these Glee holiday carols on a special Glee Christmas episode which airs Tuesday, December 7, at 8:00 pm et/pt on FOX.
The New Directions head to the big Sectionals competition to go head-to-head against the Warblers and the Hipsters in the all-new "Special Education" episode of Glee airing Tuesday, November 30, at 8:00 pm et/pt on FOX.
Glee: The Music, Volume 4, a collection of 18 memorable tracks including "Empire State Of Mind," "Stronger" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand," will be available on Tuesday November 30. The Glee cast recently surpassed James Brown for the #2 most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Only Elvis Presley has more entries with a total of 108 entries on the same chart.
