Glee's Ryan Murphy apologizes to Kings Of Leon

The creator of 'Glee', Ryan Murphy, has offered an apology to Kings Of Leon following their public spat back in January over the show and its approach to covering popular music.

Speaking from the set, he told The Hollywood Reporter that he "didn't speak with as much clarity" as he should have:

"Who am I to say 'F--k you?' That's not what I meant. I completely understand when artists don't want a show or another artist to interpret their songs. In fact, I respect it. It's their personal work and I'd feel the same way."

He also spoke about Dave Grohl's recent comments on 'Glee' and admitted he is a fan of the Foo Fighters who he hopes will one day consider offering up a track for the series to use:

"I support artists and what they choose to do... I think Kings of Leon are cool as shit. The Foo Fighters are brilliant. We'd love to do one if their songs, if they were ever interested. But if it's not their thing, then OK. I personally wish them luck will still listen to their music."
