Fans at the final tour stop of Glee Live! In Concert! were treated to a moment that took one particular storyline from the screen to the stage as characters Brittany and Santana kissed for the first time.

The pair, played by dancer Heather Morris and newly signed singer Naya Rivera, handled tricky subject matter in the last season of Glee when Santana came out as not only gay, but revealed she was in love with her best friend Brittany.

Although they never got together on the show, they decided to smooch on stage in Dublin at the O2 last night (July 3) and following the performance, "they kissed" has been firmly within the top ten worldwide trending topics on Twitter.
