Glee's Chris Colfer has nerves like "raging bats" about the release of his novel

Glee's very own Chris Colfer has opened up about the nerves he is experiencing now that his novel, 'The Land Of Stories: The Wishing Spell', is ready for public consumption.

The singer, actor and writer has been working on the piece of fiction since he was just 10 years old and revealed to MTV that he has a more extreme version of 'stomach butterflies' going on now that the book is ready for release:

"I have all these raging bats in my stomach, which are like butterflies but a little more anxious. It’s been probably one of the most difficult processes I’ve ever had to do writing the book, recording the audio book and also the absolute most nerve wracking."

"Having other people read it and it going out into the world and knowing that it’s going to be in most of the bookstores…it’s nerve wracking. I feel like little bits of my soul are being shipped domestically."

When asked about his love of writing, Colfer explained: “I really wanted to be a published author when I was 10."

"There were some lines I remember writing when I was 10 that stayed with me, along with the story, that I made sure were in the book as well.”
