'Glee' actor Kevin McHale pays tribute to the late Cory Monteith
Singer and actor Kevin McHale, who plays Artie on the hit U.S. musical series 'Glee', has posted a photograph of himself on set with the late Cory Monteith and opened up about his friend and co-star's untimely death.
Monteith died earlier this month in a Canadian hotel room and a toxicology report revealed that he tragically passed away from an alcohol and heroin overdose.
He shared the snapshot via his official Instagram page (shown below) and accompanied it with a few words about the 31-year-old:
"So thankful that I and so many of you got to experience Cory's overwhelming kindness, humor and talent. There will not be a day that goes by that I won't miss him. Thank you all for your incredible support and patience."
Monteith's girlfriend, Lea Michele, broke her silence following his death and tweeted a message of thanks for the support fans have given to her: "Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart."
