Josiah Mortimer Dedicates 'This Town' EP To Pandemic Heroes

Global Sound Group

Brixton-based Josiah Mortimer reflects on modern times with his latest acoustic EP 'This Town'. It is a delivery dedicated to all the COVID-19 pandemic heroes, and it is out on the 29th of January.

Consisting of four flavoursome treasures, 'This Town' hits home with a compelling message and Josiah’s' vocal captivates with a mesmerising quality. He finds influence from Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake, yet the singer-songwriter brings a new edge to the table. Also, his signature fingerpicking style rises with vitality, and his lyrics leave no uncertainty with their conspicuous trajectory leaving an indent.

During the unprecedented times, Josiah has witnessed the excellent work that many have contributed to the greater good; it influenced him to create this project. So much so, what started as an idea last year as turned into a fully-fledged release with Josiah playing every instrument.

So looking for the finest acoustic music? Look no further than 'This Town' by Josiah Mortimer. The EP is raising awareness for all pandemic heroes and the BandCamp funds are going straight to the hunger charity FareShare.
