Karuna, led by singer-songwriter Abi Rooley-Towle, release two new singles: 'Tipping Point,' a topical song that hits home, and 'Shape Of Water,' which emphasises the value of human growth and adaptation.

A powerful blend of early baroque, traditional folk, and world music, 'Tipping Point' pulsates with vitality! With zero ambiguity, it launches into a discussion of the climatic challenges that impact us all, producing a sense of urgency but also hitting home with reasoning. The funnelling of natural sounds originating from every component and the multi-instrument delivery emphasises the necessity for a paradigm shift. Also, the wordplay highlights the importance of coming together as a whole.

North East Scotland based Abi is vocally vehement throughout and wears her heart on her sleeve the entire time. Tamsin Lewis' first-rate fiddle performance is one-of-a-kind, as are Arngeir Hauksson's fascinating guitar rhythms. Likewise, the producer and sound designer Stevan Krakovic carves a unique and unrivalled route.

Abi finds inspiration from great writers such as Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell, among many others. Also, her admiration for Brian Eno's brilliance drives her to push the boundaries of her music, as evidenced by the group's second April 22nd release, 'Shape Of Water.'

'Shape Of Water' expands on the already thought-provoking concept of 'Tipping Point', emphasising the significance of human progress. It reawakens the desire to be more adaptable, pays great attention to our surroundings, and stresses collaboration with love to make the world a better place for all of humanity.
