Gorillaz to release new track

Still busy touring with their latest album, Damon Albarn’s group, Gorillaz, are set to release a new track next month.

The song, ‘Doncamatic (All Played Out)’ pays homage to an early drum machine, the Donca Matic, and will feature newcomer Daley on vocals, with the music itself based around an electro funk riff.

Damon recently revealed how the band has "about two albums" worth’ of material left over from the sessions of the current LP, Plastic Beach, while singer and producer Labrinth confirmed he’s planning to work with the group.

He said: "I’m going to collaborate with Gorillaz very soon. I did a remix for them already, but they want to work on a new track, so that will be a lot of fun."
