Faith Low wrote 'Patiently' after getting out of a ten year not so peachy relationship and subsequently being diagnosed with c-ptsd. Its about being in situations, where you want to leave but not being able to (for whatever reasons) and feeling stuck.

Faith Low's cptsd was very bad during recording so she wasn't the most stable or compis mentis during the recording process so it took a lot of takes and no pun intended patience.

'Patiently' was recorded in artist's bedroom and her wonderful engineer Chris Cabrera (mindlabs on IG) mixed and mastered it for her.
