'Waitlisted' is a dancy, upbeat song for the beginning of summer as the world starts to emerge new again. Contrast to previous releases by Emmrose; it is an anthem for people who’ve been waitlisted or rejected for something in life they really want. It is a song about finding celebration in getting rejected.

Emmrose is only 16 years old. Her favourite artist at the moment is Radiohead. She has been writing, recording and performing her music since the age of fourteen. Emmrose's favourite place on planet earth is in Foley Park today when she is attending Greta Thunberg's Climate Change protest in downtown Manhattan, where she was born and raised.
