From the opening strings, the stall is set out for arguably one of the most uplifting anthems of recent times, with Aaron’s heartening words of encouragement to the downtrodden - “Hold your head high”, “You’ve got my shoulder”, and the refrain of the chorus “Let’s make it right, and it’s as clear as Pure Water” will be echoing around your head long after the music’s over.

With the ethereal sheen of The Verve omnipresent throughout the song, and an accompanying video complementing the song’s soaring elegance (shot at Chatsworth in Derbyshire - just 20 minutes from Aaron’s house) this is the first of four singles to be released in consecutive months up to July before the highly-anticipated debut album “Exennial”.
