OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

'Sweatshirt' is about how when people leave each other behind, they might leave behind something with sentimental value or something random. Whatever it is, it's the last thing in your life that reminds you of them. Sometimes it's hard to really let go all the way. The chorus brings on nostalgic feelings of relationships as well as the pop rock scene of the early 2000s.

Moonroof is a Philadelphia-based band that plays upbeat, catchy indie rock and alt pop. The band consists of lead singer Dave Kim, drummer Dan Rendine, bassist Kevin Randolph, and guitarist Danny Walsh.

In June of 2019, Moonroof opened for The Lumineers, Death Cab for Cutie, Grouplove and others at the Radio 104.5 12th Birthday Show at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey. The band’s music has been played on Philadelphia-area radio stations Alt 104.5 and WXPN. Moonroof’s music has earned more than 2 million streams on Spotify. The band’s song Honey Honey has more than 455,000 streams and its cover of Chocolate by the 1975 has amassed more than 700,000 streams.
