Green Day return to the American road

Green Day Return to the Road.

Now that their new album, 21st Century Breakdown, is less than a month away, Green Day have confirmed 38 North American dates that'll keep them busy through late August. Venues haven't been revealed yet, but what is confirmed is that the band will start things off on July 3 in Seattle and wrap the trek up on August 25 in L.A.

In other news, the rock opera version of American Idiot opens on September 4 at Berkeley's Roda Theatre.
