Green Day hit out at Donald Trump at this year's American Music Awards

Green Day used their performance at this year's American Music Awards to criticise US president elect Donald Trump.

The group ran through their song 'Bang Bang' at the event on Sunday (November 20), but they added in some ad-libs hitting out at the controversial right-winger Trump.

Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong chanted the words: "No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA!"

The song 'Bang Bang' features on Green Day's recently released new album 'Revolution Radio'. The record gave the band their third chart-topping album in the US.
