Green Day blasted Justin Bieber last night during a tirade against organisers of the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

The rock trio were performing at the Las Vegas event when officials gave them a one-minute warning to cut their set short, prompting frontman Billie Joe Armstrong to launch an expletive-laden rant:

"I'm going to play a f---ing new song. F--- this sh--. Gimme a f---ing break. One minute left. One minute f---ing left. You're going to give me one minute."

The 40-year-old, who stopped in the middle of their song 'Basket Case' to make his feelings clear, then added:

"I'm not f---ing Justin Bieber, you mother----ers. You've got to be f---ing joking. I got one minute. One minute left. Now I got nothing left."
