Guns N' Roses set to reunite for headline slot at Coachella

Guns N' Roses have finally announced their long-awaited reunion.

The iconic rock group will headline the Coachella festival in Indio, California on April 16 and 23.

While their full line-up has not yet been confirmed, key members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan have all shared promotional images.

It is unclear who will fill the drum stool - rumours suggest 90s sticksman Matt Sorum - or whether original rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin will join.

Co-founders Rose and Slash have not performed together since 1993.

It is speculated that the reunited Guns N' Roses will perform US stadium shows later this year before playing European shows in 2017.

Also reforming for Coachella is LCD Soundsystem, with Calvin Harris the festival's other headliner.

The line-up features a slew of other big names, including Ellie Goulding, Sia, Major Lazer and James Bay.
