Gwen Stefani on new romance: 'I have nothing to be ashamed of'

Superstar Gwen Stefani has revealed that writing personal songs about her new romance with country singer Blake Shelton is something she is proud of.

Her new album was inspired by finding love again after splitting from her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale and she told TIME magazine that there's nothing wrong with that.

Speaking to the publication about her new record, entitled 'This Is What The Truth Feels Like', she explained:

"It was the first time that I really had written a record from a different point of view of being in love and being grateful and being in a really, ‘Oh my God, I got saved!' kind of place."

Instead of taking time out of the spotlight following the breakdown of her marriage, Stefani ended up falling for Shelton and added: "I don't feel like I have anything to be ashamed of. I've done nothing wrong."
