Gwen Stefani on Gavin Rossdale: 'He stalked me, I think'
Superstar Gwen Stefani has opened up about her past relationships in a new interview with Howard Stern and revealed that her ex-husband, Bush's Gavin Rossdale, "stalked" her for a while.
She explained that she was still "living at home" when they first met and he really pursued her:
"When I met him and looked up at him, I was like, 'Whoa.' It was different," she recalled of the moment. "I was in quite a rebellious place because I was feeling really rejected...Somehow he got my phone number, and that was that. He stalked me, I think. I was only 26, and I only had the one relationship. I still lived at home when I met Gavin."
She then spoke about ex-boyfriend and fellow No Doubt member Tony Kanal, who broke up with her in 1994, adding: "I was in love and obsessed with Tony Kanal, and he knows that. As soon as he opened the car door I was like, 'I love him. I don't know why."
Referring to the song 'Don't Speak', which they wrote as a break-up anthem, she said: "It's still weird. Even last night when I sang the song it's still weird. I just rolled my eyes and walked away [like] really? You're still feeling that?"
