Narrator: In Buckingham Palace, conservators for The Royal Collection are preparing the world’s most famous wedding dress for a very special reunion.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex: Hello. How are you?
Female Conservator: Very well, thank you.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex: Fantastic.
Female Conservator: Is it as beautiful as you remember?
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex: My goodness! It's amazing, isn't it? [LAUGHS]

Narrator: This is the first time The Duchess of Sussex has seen her dress since the wedding day.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex: Wow, very pretty. Beautiful. Somewhere in here, there’s a piece of…did you see it? The piece of blue fabric that's stitched inside?
Female Conservator: No.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex: It was my "something blue."
Female Conservator: Oh, how nice. Well, I hope it's still in there.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex: Yes, exactly.
Female Conservator: We'll have to look at that.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex:It's fabric from the dress that I wore on our first date [LAUGHS].
Female Conservator: Oh, that's about the most romantic thing I've heard.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex [laughs]

This new two-part ITV series offers a unique insight into Her Majesty The Queen’s role as a figure on the global stage and the baton she is passing to the younger members of the Royal Family as they continue to build the Commonwealth connection.

Filmed over more than a year with privileged access to The Queen, her family, her staff and her residences, this landmark series tells the story of how the Commonwealth has been a central focus and passion throughout Her Majesty’s life.

Queen of the World features behind-the-scenes moments with the Sovereign and other members of the Royal Family, including the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the Princess Royal, and the Countess of Wessex.

As the family and world leaders discuss the importance of the Commonwealth to the Queen, the series will document the way in which she passes her knowledge and experience to the younger generations.

Drawing on cine footage from The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh's private film archives and treasures of the Royal Collection, the series will offer a unique perspective on the Queen’s role as Head of the Commonwealth.

It will premiere in the States October 1 at 8pm on HBO and HBO Go
