(January 4, 2019 – New York, NY) Grammy-nominated, worldwide multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter and producer Mike Posner (“I Took a Pill in Ibiza,” “Cooler Than Me”), released new track “Move On,” in anticipation of new album, A REAL GOOD KID. “Move On,” the third track released from the forthcoming album, provides an easy guitar instrumentation into a pop melodic chorus that speaks to everyone who needs the push to move on: “I got high to forget you, I feel pain I don’t want to, but I have to if I want to move on,” Mike sings.

In support of the upcoming album release, Mike will be setting out on a 9-month trek walking across America starting March of this year. The expedition was announced today in the new video accompanying “Move On.” In anticipation of the upcoming journey, Mike stated, “I’m excited to announce that starting March 1, 2019, I will be walking across America. I will start at the Atlantic Ocean and end at the Pacific Ocean. The journey will take me most of my 31st year.”

The creation and completion of A REAL GOOD KID encompassed an extraordinary two year-plus period for Mike as he moved back into the house outside Detroit where he grew up, in order to stay with his terminally ill father during his final months. The album, which tells his story, deals heavily with love, loss and eventually acceptance. This highly-anticipated third album will be released on January 18th, 2019, via Island Records.
