Jamie T on course to bag first UK No.1 album

Jamie T is line to top the UK albums chart this weekend.

The Official Charts Company have confirmed that his latest effort 'Carry On The Grudge' is No.1 on today's (October 1) midweek update.

If it remains at No.1 then the record will beat his personal best of No.2, which was achieved by 'Kings and Queens' in 2009.

At No.2 on the midweek update meanwhile is George Ezra's 'Wanted On Voyage' whilst Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour' is No.3.

Completing the top five this week is Ed Sheeran's 'X' and Barbra Streisand's 'Partners'.

Prince's new entry 'Art Official Age' is No.7 whilst his collaborative 3rdEyeGirl record 'PlectrumElectrum' is No.9.

Marmozets - who recently spoke to Pressparty - are No.14 with their debut album 'The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets'.
