She’s just come off tour with Amy Winehouse, Prince and Stevie Wonder but somehow Janelle Monáe is squeezing in time to work on new material.

"I'm working on new music now and as soon as the music is done, an album will be submitted, but we're already like, 'Let's go,' " she says.

Monáe, who performed at last Sunday’s Grammys with Bruno Mars and B.o.B, added that she’s “in a really good, creative space” right now. She and Mars have just announced a new North American tour kicking off on May 4th in New York.
