Jason Derulo spills on White House dinner

'Trumpets' superstar Jason Derulo recently attended a 50-person dinner hosted by the President of the United States, Barack Obama, at the White House and gave fans an insight into the experience in a new interview with KIIS-FM.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest, Derulo explained that he attended the intimate event with girlfriend Jordin Sparks and was lucky enough to sit at the same table as First Lady Michelle Obama. When asked what they talked about over dinner, he confessed:

"We sat with Michelle, she was actually at our table. One of the funny things was, when they [the Obamas] got into office, there was no wifi. So she [Michelle Obama] was like, 'we had to put wifi in the whole building'. But the people were like, ‘So, where do you want the wifi exactly?’ and she was like, ‘Everywhere!'"

He also spilled on what they had for dinner, adding: "I had a nice piece of steak. I wanted to ask for a second, but I was like, 'nah, that'll probably be a little much!'"

A couple of weeks ago, Derulo shared a photograph of himself with Sparks at the White House dinner via Instagram (shown above left) and captioned it with: "Casually having dinner with the Obama's celebrating@SpecialOlympics @WhiteHouse! #playunified #legendary #historic."
