Singer Jason Derulo has opened up about his romantic life now that he has split from girlfriend Jordin Sparks and confessed that he is "absolutely" dating. 

During a new interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest, the heartthrob explained that he isn't shying away from women now that he's single and instead is heading back out on the scene with confidence:

"You got to be over confident. You only live one time, so if you see that person you want and then you don’t go for it, then that’s going to be in the back of your mind like, ‘Man, what if? What if? What if?’ So you have to go for it every single time."

He went onto talk about his new single 'Want To Want Me', which is due to be released on March 17, and admitted that the sound of the track was a natural progression for him:

"I was coming off of a crazy experience. That was a point where I broke my neck and I had to cancel my whole tour. I was making music just for myself. It wasn’t planned for an album or anything because I was supposed to be on tour."

“So I was just in the studio doing me and that’s what came out. The album just had a bunch of songs that made you feel good because I needed to get myself out of the rut that I was in. So I was making music that made me feel good.”
