Jason Derulo: 'I've grown more in the last 8 months than I have the rest of my life'

'Trumpets' hitmaker Jason Derulo has revealed that his new album, which is titled 'Everything Is 4', showcases just how much he has grown over the last eight months.

Speaking to PerezHilton.com at the STAR Magazine's Hollywood Rocks event earlier this week, the heartthrob admitted that the record is his 'best work' and he really can't wait to release it: "I feel like it's my best work thus far, and I'm excited to share it. I've been working on it for the past eight months and I'm excited to get it out there to the people."

"I think the biggest difference with this album is the element of growth. I really feel like I've grown up in the past eight months. A lot has happened in my life and experiences just force you to grow up. I feel like I've grown more in the past eight months than in the whole of the rest of my life."

'Everything Is 4' is due to be officially released on June 1 and the superstar is also set to release his new single, named 'Want To Want Me', in the UK on May 24.
