Jason Derulo: 'People talking about my break-up all the time makes it hard to move on'

Hitmaker Jason Derulo has revealed that while he understands that the world is interested in his split from Jordin Sparks, he hates the fact that his break-up is constantly being discussed in the interviews that he sits down to do.

Speaking to London's Metro newspaper recently, the star explained that he keeps having to talk about it publicly and it's starting to make it feel as though it's hard to move on from:

"I understand why people ask but it's a bit weird. The strange part is it's like a prolonged break-up. Instead of it being over and moving on, it keeps on going and going. That's the strange part."

Derulo, meanwhile, shot straight into the No.1 position on the UK singles chart during yesterday's midweek update with his new offering, 'Want To Want Me'. He has managed to push OMI's 'Cheerleader' down a place to No.2 after its impressive four-week reign at the top.

The heartthrob recently explained to Billboard that he's tired of being looked at as the 'bad guy' because people don't know the real story behind the ending of his relationship: "I do get tired of playing nice. Especially when people think I did something wrong, or that she broke up with me. But it's so behind me."
