Jason Derulo has been confirmed as the co-host at the 2011 MOBO Awards.

The R&B star will be joined by Alesha Dixon, Keri Hilson and Wyclef Jean to front this year's star-studded show.

The 'In My Head' hitmaker said he is "excited" to present at the event, which will be in Glasgow in October.

Derulo said in a statement: "It's a real honour to be presenting and performing at the MOBO Awards this year."

The 21-year old added: "It's such a huge event to be part of and I'm super excited to come back to the UK, it's going to be a lot of fun."

The likes of Jessie J, Katy B and Alexis Jordan are also slated to perform at the event but it is currently unknown who will join Derulo to host the ceremony.
