Jason Derulo cancels world tour after fracturing neck

Superstar Jason Derulo has been forced to cancel his forthcoming Future History world tour after fracturing his neck during dance rehearsals earlier this week

Yesterday, January 5, the 'It Girl' hitmaker posted a photograph and message to social networking site Twitter that explained he had sustained the injury while going through the stage routine for his new run of dates, but the ailment has now proven to be more serious than originally thought.

A statement issued from Derulo's management confirms the sad news that he has axed all of the dates on his tour in order to make a strong and full recovery:

"To all my fans who planned to come to the Future History world tour, the pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I've sustained."

"My fans mean everything to me, so I'm praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future."
