JLo: 'Love used to mean forever, but now I don't cling to fairy tales'

Songstress Jennifer Lopez has revealed that she's not in a rush to get married again because she has learned that love doesn't have to be defined by a legal contract.

The beauty explained that she now understands that love comes in different packages so is happy just to explore her options and to enjoy her relationship with dancer Casper Smart:

"In the past, love for me has always meant forever and sure you still nurse those fantasies, but I don't try to force it any more. I hung on to my fairy tale ideals for a long time. But where I am now, what I've been through, there are no rules."

"There are lots of ways it can turn out instead of just one. There are so many different kinds of happiness, not just the one you learned about when you were five years old."

She also opened up about the fact that she never feels happy about being alone, but is trying to work out how to make peace with it: "Look I don't love being alone. I don't. I can't beat myself up about that. What I have to do is figure out why I don't like it. Why am I not OK being alone? And can I be OK facing that?"
