Jennifer Lopez says she is looking for something 'deep and meaningful' when it comes to love.

The singer has been divorced three times and she is single after splitting from dancer Casper Smart, who she dated for two years.

Speaking to People, Lopez said that she is still receptive to the idea of a "fairytale" romance.

The US star added that her dream person doesn't have to be famous.

Lopez said: "I still believe in the fairytale. The more I work on myself, the more I give myself the opportunity to share a really deep and meaningful relationship that can give me my fairytale and last forever.

"I'm looking for someone who is like-minded and respectful, conscious of someone else's feelings and loves themselves enough to have a healthy relationship; someone who will allow me to be myself 100 per cent completely and will love me for that person. I don't care [if they're famous].

"I think they should have their own life, because the world I have around me can be overwhelming."
