JLo on love: 'I do want to want someone, but I don't need anyone'

Songstress Jennifer Lopez has revealed that love is something she wants, but doesn't need to depend on anymore because she knows how to be content by herself.

During an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine in Germany, the beauty explained that she has really learned how to be alone and how to make herself happy, so now it's not a case of feeling like she needs a relationship in order to be fulfilled:

"I am my own best friend. It's a feeling I'd never experienced. My whole life was always one big plan. I'd meet a man and think: When will we get married? How will we live? Is this my future? I do want to want someone, but I don't need anyone."

JLo, meanwhile, recently told Ryan Seacrest that she counts her blessings daily and is always thankful for the opportunities she has: “I get excited about performing a new record for the first time, I get excited about having a residency at Axis in Planet Hollywood that will be starting in January, and then I go see the guys at Idol. I see [Harry Connick Jr.], [Keith Urban], and everybody — It’s just fun! I’m truly blessed, I love my life, I get tired sometimes, but I try to take care of myself and take it day by day and just realise how blessed I am.”
