JLo on 'diva' label: 'I've done nothing to deserve that'

Superstar Jennifer Lopez, who is known for her singing as well as her acting and television work, has revealed that she doesn't like being called a diva because she doesn't fit the description at all.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 'Ain't Your Mama' sensation admitted that she thinks it's incredibly unfair to be labelled a diva because all she has ever done is work hard to get to where she is:

"I got a moniker of being 'the diva,' which I never felt I deserved—which I don't deserve—because I've always been a hard worker, on time, doing what I'm supposed to do, and getting that label because you reach a certain amount of success."

She explained that being a woman in the entertainment industry is very different to being a man, adding: "I was always fascinated by how I could see [a man] being late or being belligerent to a crew and it being totally acceptable; meanwhile, I'd show up 15 minutes late and be berated. And you watch this happen over and over and over again."
