Jennifer Lopez was the big winner at the 2011 Glamour Women of the Year awards in New York City last night, November 7.

The 'On The Floor' hitmaker has endured a tough year, but was honoured last night with the coveted All-Star award at Manhattan's Carnegie Hall while wearing a stunning Versace split gown. Speaking about her win, Lopez explained that life's greatest lesson is finding a way to be happy with who you are:

"You’ve got to love yourself first. You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything,”

She also took to her official Twitter page earlier this morning (November 8) and wrote: "what an amazing evening... filled with LOVE and beautiful women. Thank you @glamourmag ....... I am truly honored".

Glee's Lea Michele also walked away with a trophy after she was crowned The Diva Next Door and told her fans: "What an inspiring night tonight at the Glamour women of year awards. So unbelievable!"
