'On The Floor' beauty Jennifer Lopez has revealed that she hates the double standard surrounding dating someone younger than you where the different sexes are concerned.

During an interview with Australia's Kyle and Jackie O, the songstress explained that it's stupid that men dating younger women are slapped on the back and praised while women are often called 'cougars' or scorned if the roles are reversed:

"Yeah, I don't mind it. Men have been getting it for years... For some reason it's not a big deal when [men] talk about it..."

Lopez, 43, is currently dating 26-year-old dancer Casper Smart and added that the dating age gap is a difficult thing to talk about with children, but she hopes she'll know what to say to her young twins when the time comes:

"I feel like it's funny when you're caught in a situation! You know your mum was in it and now you are and I don't know what to say [to them], but then I feel God gives me the words."
