Jessie J has put her own spin on a Michael Jackson song.

The singer took to BBC Radio 1Xtra earlier this week and she ran through the singer's 1979 song 'Rock With You'.

The news meanwhile comes on the anniversary of the late star's death.

The King of Pop passed away five years ago today (June 25), sending shockwaves around the music world.

He died from an overdose of the powerful anaesthetic propofol, with his doctor Conrad Murray eventually jailed for manslaughter.

Jackson's death came as the singer was rehearsing for a massive residency at London's O2 Arena.
