Jessie J has opened up on the "mojo" she has regained whilst making her new album.

The Brit is due to release her third record 'Sweet Talker' on October 13 and she told the Daily Star that it represents a return to form.

The singer suggested that she was too lethargic with her second album 'Alive', which failed to live up to commercial expectations after it was released in 2013.

Jessie J said: "I got my mojo back. I feel like I've had a gym pass for three years - the first year was all 'I wanna do it, but I don't know how to use the equipment'.

"Then the second year was, 'I've been here, done this, can't really be bothered'. Then the third year, 'Gotta get back on it and look how I did the first year'."

'Sweet Talker' meanwhile will feature the upcoming single 'Burnin' Up', which was unveiled this week.
