Jessie J says Brits are more interested in her sex life than voice

Jessie J believes Britain is more interested in her private life than her singing abilities.

The singer, who hails from London, has a strong presence in her home country and she is starting to make a serious splash in the States.

However, she told Alan Carr: Chatty Man that she feels the US is interested in her talent, whereas Brits are more keen on her sex life.

Jessie J said: "In America they see me as a singer whereas here I feel that people don't appreciate my voice. I've dedicated my life to singing and I want it to be taken seriously.

"Here it seems that all people want to know is what I've had for breakfast and who I'm sleeping with."

Jessie J's Chatty Man episode will air tonight (September 26) in the UK on Channel 4.
