Jessie J says female music stars are 'all speaking about the same thing'

Jessie J believes female singers are all speaking about the 'same thing' in their lyrics.

The Brit told Glamour that she feels certain themes - like love and image - regularly form the backbone of female artists' songs.

She said: "All women are saying, singing and speaking about the same thing, but in their own way - love, heartbreak, reassurance, sexiness, belief, how we look, how we feel.

"We're all singing about it and doing it."

Jessie J meanwhile revealed in the same interview that royalties from co-writing Miley Cyrus' 2009 hit 'Party in the USA' helped to pay her rent for a number of years.
