Jessie J pushing for same league as Gaga

Jessie J wants to be the UK's equivalent of Lady Gaga where the success of her career is concerned and she is well on the way with what she's accomplished so far.

The 'Nobody's Perfect' chart-topper told Top of the Pops magazine that her drive and ambition is unstoppable:

"I want to sit there with the Katy Perrys and the Gagas and the Rihannas and feel comfortable. I don't want to be the British chick who tried to make it and didn't. I'm not going to sleep until that happens!"

Jessie J, who was this morning confirmed to perform at Capital FM's Summertime Ball, added that she just wants to represent the UK and to do it with integrity:

"I'm basically trying to release music the whole way around the world at one time. It's crazy to know I can take my music to the US as well as the UK and Japan and Australia."

"I want to fly the flag around the world. I think the UK deserves someone who will work their butt off and go out there and go for it."

She also just revealed via Twitter, May 3, that she will be supporting Snoop Dogg at this year's Lovebox Festival in London. Watch her performance of her debut album's title track here:
