Jessie J: 'My idols let me down but I won't do that to my fans'

Vocal powerhouse Jessie J has revealed that because she felt let down by her idols in the past it makes her more determined to do her fans proud and to project a positive image.

The 'Nobody's Perfect' hitmaker explained to the Daily Star that being a good role model to her Heartbeats is so important to her and she will do everything she can to not let them down:

“I remember growing up and listening to people on the radio and sometimes my idols let me down. I don’t want to let my fans down and if I can be a voice then that’s a wonderful thing to have. I want to make a change.”

She added that even with her broken foot, she has to carry on as her "voice" can make a difference to people who look up to her:

"I’ve got to do my thing as best as I can. I got to sing my songs to everyone that I look up to.”
