Vocal powerhouse Jessie J has been forced to pull out of her support slot on the U.S leg of Katy Perry's California Dreams tour because of issues with her broken foot. 

Writing to her fans on Twitter last night, September 19, she explained that the slow healing process has prevented her from being able to perform the string of dates in America:

"Having a cry about having to pull out of the @katyperry tour. I am as upset as my #heartbeats believe me. My foot is just not healing as well as I hoped. :("

Katy Perry revealed that Ellie Goulding will star as the 'Price Tag' hitmaker's replacement and also used the popular social networking site to broadcast the news:

"Please welcome @elliegoulding to the #CaliforniaDreamsTour this November! @jessiejofficial hope you feel better soon!"
