Jessie J will stay true to pop roots on her new album

Singer-songwriter Jessie J has revealed that she has no plans to deviate dramatically from her musical style on her forthcoming second album.

The star, who took home an impressive 4 MOBO awards earlier this week, told the Daily Star that she will remain true to her pop roots although she isn't entirely sure what sub-genre she might lean towards yet:

"I want it to stay true to who I am. It'll be pop again but I don't know if it'll be pop with symphony orchestras or pure pop like 'Price Tag' again. It's just what comes out of me and I don't know what's going to come out of me next."

"I know that I want to get to know my voice a bit better and I want to have some more collaborations. But who they'll be with, I really don't know yet."

Her new single, 'Who You Are', will be released in the UK on November 7 and you can watch the video for it here:
