Jessie J happy to be a role model, opens up about being bullied

Jessie J feels as though she was "chosen" to be a role model and wants to be an inspiration to her fans in everything that she does.

The 'Nobody's Perfect' songstress opened up about being a victim of bullying in the new issue of Cosmopolitan magazine and explained that she can empathise with people who have been picked on because her classmates would "throw stones at my head”:

"You know what? Being bullied means you’re special. And that’s what I want all kids to know.”

"I don’t think I’ve ever been drunk. I feel like the role model thing has chosen me. It is important to embrace the limelight, and I know it sounds like a cliché, but the kids need me not to let them down.”
